Meet Chef Dave
Chef, baker, and restauranteur David Willocks is on a mission to inspire and educate people to cook with seasonal produce and whole grains.
In 2026 he was a James Beard Foundation finalist for Best Chef Southeast, and his restaurant Baker’s Table in Newport, Kentucky, has baked every loaf of sourdough in house for seven years to much critical acclaim.
His writing has been published in Authority Magazine and Eater.com, and he has mentored hundreds of students on the journey to better bread.
In his spare time, Chef Dave is also a jazz guitar player, nature lover, and a Dance Dad.
